'Prevention is better than cure' - Can it be applied to accidents?

Definitely accidents are preventable if proper precautions are taken. Prevention of accidents is always better than cure as some of the fatal accidents do not give the cure option. Here are my views on Prevention of accidents is better than cure at workplace-
